HATCO 34in Display Warmer Heated Food Merchandiser Countertop
You will need a screwdriver to put it back together. Both the lamps and both the heating elements work. Cord and plug are in good shape. Temp display is working and bright. Knob present and the trim pot inside is tight and responsive. Some light grease from use. I cleaned it a couple times with simple green. It doesn’t have the rods to make slots but you could get some quarter inch rod from the hardware store to replace them if you need them. Includes only what is shown. The glass on both sides is good. The plexi on the rear flap is good. All of the legs are on it and all of the legs have the feet. All the feet and legs are in good shape. I took it apart because it wasn’t shippable otherwise and you will have to put it back together. A Philips screwdriver is the only tool you will need. An impact will be faster, there are a lot of screws. You need to first put the uprights on the sides of the base. I put all the screws back in the holes they came out of so the screws are right there. Once you have all the uprights on the base have someone help you put the top on the uprights being careful to feed the two wires on each side at the back through the holes. Then take the plate off the cord and the plate off the control. I replaced the wire nuts with Wago connectors so its easy to reconnect the wires. Facing the back of the unit. On the right side, connect the black wire (from the cord) to the red wire (from the top), then connect the white wire (from the cord) to the white wire (from the top). Don’t put the plate back on yet, you want to make sure its working first. Now on the left side connect the yellow wire (from the top) to the connector that has ONLY YELLOW WIRES (from the controls), then connect the red wire (from the top) to the connector that has 2 other red wires and 2 yellow wires (from the controls). DO NOT DISCONNECT ANY OF THE WIRES THAT ARE ALREADY IN THE CONNECTOR. I have set it up so you only need to connect the wires coming from the removed top. If you mix up the wires already in the connector we may never figure it out because there is no available schematic. If you mix up only the wires from the top its not a big deal. I made a video I can send you if you need it. Once you have it wired up plug it in and turn it on a make sure its fully functional. If you messed up the wires it will throw your breaker. Verify you have it wired properly. Once you know its working you can put the convers back on and put the covers on the uprights, Turn it off and unplug it first. You will need to put the glass back in. You will need to put the plexi flap back on the back. You will need to put the sign back on the front. You will need to put the legs back on. Useful area to to hold food is 34in x 22in. There is a sign insert that is to long to go in the box with the unit.
